A. We rent directly to you, you will not find them advertised on agency or broker websites. Check our website, Facebook or Gumtree pages for our locations and current availability.
Q. How do I decide if the garage or parking suits my needs?
+
A. Recent photos and accurate dimensions of all our locations are on the website or advert. We do not publish precise addresses of locations online for security, but you can reach us if you want to discuss the location in more detail.
Q. How secure are garages and yards for storage or parking?
+
A. We specialize in secure yards and garages. Most sites are discretely located and have security gates and fences. All garages have additional security measures installed.
Q. What terms do your offer?
+
A. We will typically rent to you on a rolling monthly basis. So you can give one month’s notice to leave. And as long as you pay the rent fully up to date, you can generally keep renting for as long as needed.
Q. What is in the rental agreement?
+
A. Garages, storage and parking spaces are usually rented on a “Licence Agreement”. This is a simple agreement that covers the deposit, rent and payment, notice, and your and our responsibilities. This is much simpler than a residential tenancy agreement or a commercial lease.
Q. How are garages or parking paid for?
+
A. You typically pay monthly in advance, by standing order. Normally a deposit equivalent to one month’s additional rent is required upfront, which is paid (together with the first month’s rent) immediately before getting access. We may run special offers which may reduce the monthly rent during a promotional period and/or may vary the amount of deposit required.
Q. What insurances are needed?
+
A. We insure our property, however we do not accept any responsibility for motor vehicles or goods stored in the garages or parked on our land. We also do not insure your use of the facilities. So if you need to insurance your car or belongings, you should contact your own insurers.
Q. Who is responsible for maintenance?
+
A. We will take care of maintenance, however you should report any maintenance needs promptly. The only exception is that you are responsible for keeping any garage door locks and mechanisms well oiled so that they do not deteriorate or seize up.
Q. What is your current Web offer?
+
A. Reach us via the Contact Us webform at the top of this website, mentioning our 50% off special Web Offer in your message. We will discount your first month’s rent by 50% of the monthly rent advertised on this website. We will ask for two month’s deposit initially in place of the usual one month’s deposit. Entirely at our discretion, we may later refund one month's deposit if you have paid the rent on time each month for the first year of your rental.
